Medical Staff

SBW Director and Co-clinical Director Dr. Peter Saunders is an Emergency Medicine Physician from Australia with experience in developing country medicine. Sarah Saunders is a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, who has also spent time working in Guinea, Africa

SBW Co-clinical Director Dr. Jason Mak is an Obstetric and Gynaecological Specialist from Australia with additional experience in developing country medicine. Laura Mak is the Practice Manager of their Gynaecological Clinic in Australia

Our support staff includes national and international staff whose roles are diverse and adaptable, essential in the challenging environments in which we work, ensuring that Safe Births achieves its goals
